Collaboration with Ottosson…

One of our goals is to be able to offer our customers more sustainable alternatives. With a factory and our own production, we can influence the entire process, from design to delivery. In our newly designed furniture we have used paint based on natural linseed oil.

Linseed oil – a better alternative

For a long time, we have wanted to become more sustainable and find better alternatives. This year we found the artist who became a paint maker, Ottosson Färgmakeri. In Genarp, only a couple of miles from our head office in Skåne, Ottosson manufactures its natural linseed oil paint.

Linseed oil paint is a sustainable product based on natural linseed oil, no water is used in the manufacturing process.

Through a collaboration with one of Sweden’s largest flax growers on a farm outside Löddeköpinge, Ottosson has access to high-quality linseed oil that is grown in fields, mainly in Skåne and also in Östergötland.

Sustainable furniture – in different aspects

Offering unique, durable furniture with a rustic touch has always been our idea. Being able to offer more choices with furniture painted in natural linseed oil is yet another aspect of sustainability.

From 2022 we offer furniture painted with natural linseed oil in one colour combination. In collaboration with Ottosson Färgmakeri, we will be able to produce unique colours and combinations for the coming seasons. We look forward to presenting our colours shortly and launching the offer in 2023.
