Miljögården is one of Sweden’s leading wholesalers of home décor, with our office and warehouse situated in Svedala, in the southern region of the country.
We offer an extensive range of home accessories. Our collections contain handpicked items to gain the best mix of products that last over seasons. Our products are sold in Scandinavia and all over Europe.
Our Story
Established in 1985 by Ulf and Barbro Wihlborg, Miljögården initially focused on selling porcelain dolls before evolving into a wholesaler of home furnishings. In 1990, we expanded our operations by inaugurating our own furniture factory in Poland, with Ulf taking on the role of chief designer.
Since 2021, Joakim Wihlborg, the son of Ulf and Barbro, has assumed ownership as well as the position of CEO. Our headquarters, nestled in Svedala near Malmo, is home to a dedicated team whose work ethic is guided by the principles of simplicity, solidarity, and humor.

Today, Miljögården is a supplier to the unique shops, including interior designers, restaurants and hotels. We offer an inspiring and carefully selected range that lasts over time.

Our Mission
With the simple but yet profound motto "Create spaces that You Love," our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to create beautiful and inviting environments.
We dedicate considerable resources to our photoshoots, capturing images that we curate in our image bank for our customers' use and inspiration.
Today, we collaborate with numerous suppliers located across the globe, many of whom we have maintained longstanding relationships with. As part of our commitment to ethical sourcing, we require all our suppliers to provide BSCI certificates, ensuring that the working conditions within their facilities meet our standards.
Own production
Additionally, we operate our own production facilities. The majority of the furniture featured in our range is designed in-house and manufactured in our carpentry in Poland. With a factory and our own production, we can influence the entire process, from design to delivery.
For a long time, we have wanted to become more sustainable and find better alternatives and now we have partnered up with Ottosson Färgmakeri. In Genarp, only a couple of miles from our head office in Skåne, Ottosson manufactures its natural linseed oil paint. We now offer a complete range of furniture painted with linseed colors and treated with linseed oil instead of conventional paint.
